Goff Signs With Skins

Thats Cute

So Goff signs with the Skins. Giants didn't want to re-sign him for much so I understand why Goff did it. Guy was drafted in 2008. Started 20 total games up to last year where he tore his ACL a week before the season. It would be nice to have him as a linebacker, nice run stopper, was working on being more than that before his injury. No harm, no foul, if you give the Skins our goods, I'll kill ya!

Draft: Day 2

Love
Not so much

Rueben Randle WR LSU: Kid can play. Projected to be a late 1st early 2nd round pick and he slides all the way to the giants at 63. He is 6'3" 210, ran a 4.42 at his pro day. Immediately started to draw comparisons to Hakeem Nicks in the Giants draft room. Means he will start right away in my mind, not going to be the next Ramses Barden. Kid can get the high ball. Doesn't mind going over the middle, and has the size to take the hits that come with it. 3 wideout sets, put him opposite Nicks, Cruz in the slot. Bye Mario Manningham, you've been replaced.

Jayron Hosley CB VT: Projected to go 2nd or 3rd rd. BEFORE his failed drug test right before the combine. Has a problem with injuries. Can be a solid return man. 4.38 40 time. Kid has a small frame 5'10 178. Great zone corner. Put him in the slot for the time being with Ross going to Jacksonville. T2 and CWeb can handle the outside.

P.S. - Not even sure what the Giants are doing with Osi anymore? Are they just holding on to this locker room distraction? I find it ridiculous. Guy is not happy.

Kiwi Gets An Extension

Nope Not The Fruit

Mathias Kiwanuka has just signed a 3 year extension which is worth $21.75 mil, including $8.5 mil signing bonus and $10.95 mil in guarantees.

Apparently Osi is all cool with this? Doubt it, but it also screams what the Giants think of him. Take 72 off your roster sheet for next season, he should be departing within the next few days.

David Emmanuel Wilson

Get Off Me

Well fuck me right? I'm over here saying that Da'Rel Scott is the next big thing at running back. No need to draft a running back here. Get one later in the draft like we are known for doing. Oh what's up Dave Wilson?

Still trying to figure it out. Reese threw out every draft strategy he's had. Not addressing the biggest need, and definitely not drafting BPA. The Giants say that Wilson was the 2nd back on their board. Worst running game in the league last year, this guy should help immediately. Runs more outside the tackles, Bradshaw can handle the inside (as long as ankles hold up). Runs a 4.4 and never wants to go down on first contact. May also help in the kick return game where he picked up over 1000 yards in his college career. Can catch the ball in the backfield and can make plays in space.

A glaring negative that Coughlin is known for fixing, fumbles. While fighting for the extra yards, he tends to fumble a little bit more than usual. Kind of reminds me of Bradshaw in that aspect. I can see him reaching for that extra yard and getting it punched out. Coughlin is too tough to let that slide from a rookie, he will get it worked out. Also, at 5' 10" 205, the way he runs, size is a concern. Lets hope that he does not hurt himself early trying to fight for those yards.

To those saying "why not Cordy Glenn?" There is a reason why he fell down to the Giants. One reason can be the guy plays soft. I didn't think the Giants were going to draft an OLineman, but Glenn could have been a starter immediately.

P.S. - Kid can do BACKFLIPS

P.P.S. -   Really wanted Fleener. And with not picking Upshaw, I guess maybe my Keith Rivers assessment may be okay?

NFC BEAST reactions

That Beast Stock Keeps Rising

All 3 other NFC East teams move up in the draft. Why? Its obvious, to catch the Super Bowl Champs. These 3 teams know that winning the NFC East is not as hard as people may think. The Giants escaped with a 9-7 record to go and win the whole thing. Rest of the draft shall make things real interesting for this division.

Washington Redskins:
The skins moved up a while ago, taking the 2nd overall pick from the Rams to draft RGIII. The Rams received the Skins 6th overall pick, their second round pick, and their first-round picks in 2013 and 2014. A move that had to be made by the Redskins. Needed a QB years ago and finally got one yesterday. Kid can move. Would rather stay in the pocket and let it fly, but hes a playmaker. Definitely makes the team better.

Dallas Cowboys:
One of their weaknesses last year was obviously their secondary. In free agency however they acquired Brandon Carr, an instant upgrade for this secondary who lost one of their vets in Newman. Mike Jenkins is already there, has had one good season, this one will be big for him. Then they trade
their 1st (14) and 2nd (45) round pick for the 6th overall. Who are they going to pick after addressing their secondary weakness already? Boom Morris Claiborne. Nations top defensive back last year. 2nd highest rated corner by the Cowboys since Neon Deion. Guy is an absolute machine at corner. Complete lockdown man. A move made to help stop the Giants pass attack. I'm scared of him.

Philadelphia Eagles:
Jumped 3 spots to draft DT Fletcher Cox. Sent Seattle the 15, 114, 172. This kid can play all over the DLine. The Eagles DLine is known for their constant rotating and Cox will make an impact immediately. Their defense gave up 142.3 yards a game on the ground last year so they saw Fletcher being a great way to help them out in that aspect. He's not the greatest pass rusher, so not much to scare Eli.

Here Comes Big Daddy Rogers!

Smart Guy

Well heres an interesting move on draft day. Look, the 3x pro bowler has not played a full season since 2008 when he was killing it in that big ugly ass Browns uni. Played 5 games in the past 2 years. Need some depth behind Canty and Joseph and this pretty much closes the door on Bernard and Kennedy. Apparently good at blocking field goals and PATs. Him and JPP in the middle of all that shit, watch out.

Who Takes Over The Bison Role??

Who will take Grant's role on defense?

Believe it or not, Deon Grant, was a big part of this New York Giants defense. For those who do not know what the "Bison" role is, it's like a linebacker-safety hybrid. This type of player is perfect for covering the big athletic tight ends like Graham, Gronk, and Hernandez. You also have to be big enough to stop the run, and quick enough to blitz the QB. When Deon Grant was in the game, it would cause chaos even before the snap.

Do we have the type of players on the squad to fill that role already? I doubt it. There are rumblings that Chris Horton and Stevie Brown are going after it, but lets be serious. Horton may just be there to give inside Redskin news, has only started 15 games in a career that began in 08. Who the fuck is Stevie Brown you ask? yeah I ask the same thing, drafted by Oakland 7th rd of 2010 draft played 15 games there and then 8 for the Colts in 2011.

Tyler Sash is more of a hard hitter at the line. Not quick enough to branch out into coverage from that spot.

4 Guys in the draft worth looking at:

Sean Spence (MIA) - 6ft 224lbs 4.59 40. - A little undersized, but fast. Can be mistaken for a safety. Great coverage
Antonio Allen (SC) - 6' 2" 202 lbs 4.55 40 - Played the "Spur" in college, same as Bison. Needs to improve coverage
Lavonte David (NEB) - 6' 1" 225 lbs 4.65 40 - An undersized outside linebacker. Can cover backs and receivers
George Iloka (BSU) -6'3" 216 lbs 4.49 40 - Tall. Can cover taller TE's. Dabbled at corner. Needs technique work

See You In The Playoffs

Fuck You
Well the Eagles trade away Asante to the Falcons for a 7th round pick. Listen, I know he is getting up there in age for a corner but he is still one scary mother fucker out there. He will go for the INT all day long and hes a short ball away from a pick 6. I am more than happy the Eagles traded him away. DRC and Asomguahaahah are the only 2 left. Cruz has Nnamdi's number, DRC is a glorified return man at this point. Who is gonna keep up with the Giants wideouts?

Falcons secondary however is going to be ON POINT! They could have used this pick up in the play offs but sorry, didnt happen like that. See you December 16th and the playoffs buddy!

Eli Jokes About Jets

"Hey wanna slay bitches later?" "Absolutely!"

ESPN – Eli Manning just won his second Super Bowl MVP and is set to host “Saturday Night Live,” but the New York Giants quarterback says he’s behind Jets signal-callers Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow when it comes to popularity in New York City. In a panel discussion over this past weekend with Fox News host Shepard Smith at an Ole Miss event honoring the former Rebels quarterback, a playful Manning cracked about his new standing among New York quarterbacks after Tebow arrived in a trade in late March. “New York Giants just won a championship yet I’m still the third most-talked-about quarterback in my own city,” he deadpanned as the crowd erupted in laughter in a video posted on FoxNews.com. Manning often says he doesn’t pay attention to what is written or being said about him or the Giants in the media, but the intense public scrutiny regarding Tebow’s arrival and Sanchez’s reaction to the move has been nearly impossible to avoid.

It is easy to see how some retarded Jets fans may take this article. They probably think that Eli is jealous of the Retards in Green. Want all the back pages because hes the Super Bowl Champ. No. I think it is clear as day that Eli Manning does not give a fuck less what people, especially the media think about him. To be able to joke around about being the 3rd most talked about quarterback in NYC proves that all he worries about is winning rings. If anything it was more a jab at that circus act in the opposite locker room. Like, "hey, I find it funny that the media thinks the Gags in Green are more important than a 2x Super Bowl MVP" Throughout his career he has done the same ol' shit but has cleaned up his decision making. Every game you will see the "aw shucks" face, looking like he is droooling all over the place, and the media can get on him about that all they want, he still produces fucking rings.

This Mother Fucker

The Black Goofy

NY POST - "I'm a talented guy and respect talent. I respect Pierre-Paul, I respect Tuck, Umenyiora all of those guys, but I am not going to go out and play as if I'm scared they are going to sack me."

Baha listen up rook,

Night of October 20th, you will be up shitting your pants at the thought of JPP, Tuck, and Kiwi getting after your dumb ass. Oh you can run around? Great buddy you don't have to be fast to not get sacked, just helps you get hurt after you flee the pocket. Your 6'2" 220 lb soaking wet frame is going to get snapped. The Boys in Blue are coming back with a vengeance
against
you DC assholes. Those games last year were awful to watch, and I am sure worse to play in. You better say your prayers that Osi doesn't come back too, or you will have a terrible, terrible, day on your hands.

P.S. Only guy that can get away with those teeth is Michael Strahan. Get some braces.

Osi Sayonara

Thumbs up bro, see ya later!

Everyone knows how important Osi can be for this defense. The guy gets after the quarterback. But at the age of 30, time to let him go. Of course he wants more money, they all do , but with guys like Cruz, Nicks and JPP needing new contracts, this guy is at the bottom of the totem poll. Osi now has hip issues, only had 9 sacks, and is now becoming a distraction.

Draft day trade? Why not? Get a 3 out of him. I know the Giants are going to want a 2, but with the above bullshit I just mentioned, they will not get it. We have Kiwi to move to DE and replace him, and who says Reese wont just draft another one like we did with JPP 2 years ago?

Listen, it was fun to watch you play my man, but your time in Blue has come and gone. Later.

Best Player Available?

Same picture next year?

With the draft coming up, say, TOMORROW, I might as well throw a draft post out there. Everyone knows that Jerry Reese's strategy in the draft has been draft the BPA, but is it time to finally start drafting need?

Drafting 32 really makes things difficult for the Giants, I have read that past the first 3 or 4 O-Lineman that they are all kinda the same in terms of talent. Will we trade up? chances of that are 0%. Jerry doesn't like to mess around like that, take what you are given, and win rings. Bottom line, what offensive lineman could we possibly get round one? Retards like Mike Adams? A kid that smokes weed right before the combine and gets caught? fuck that. I want Colby Fleener, big  TE 6-6 244lbs. Runs a 4.51. Yeah I get he can't block, but we just signed one of the best blocking TEs in Bennett so we don't need him to block.

Another need would be the WR opposite Nicks. LSU Randle, and GT Hill may fall to us.  Cruz has to stay in the slot, he is revolutionizing the way the slot is played, not only the shorter slant routes, but straight flies up the field as well.

Others may think RB is a big need with Jacobs gone. I do not. Two (maybe 3 words) Da'Rel Scott. We dont need a bruising back. Jacobs did close to nothing for us in short yardage last year. Da'Rel runs hard and as fast as fuck. Him and Bradshaw are fine. Find someone middle to late rounds.

You dont need to draft a linebacker high with the signing of Keith Rivers. Watch out for this man, injuries have owned his career thus far, but watch. I mean if Hightower falls, absolutely draft him. Move Kiwi back to his home at DE and see what happens with Osi come draft day.. Next post is about that jerk off.

A Little Introduction

Christmas Eve 2011 (left)

Well here we go. Welcome to the Big Blue Wreckin' Crew. Ran by myself, a kid named after the famous Lawrence Taylor. Do I look like a Lawrence? Not a chance in hell, my parents smoked but not that much. Taylor is a little more fitting, "oh but taylor is a girls name!" Yeah I fucking get it, fuck you. Just moved back up to CT from Boca Raton, FL.. more Giants fans down there than expected, got all the Giants games on FOX, which was fantastic.

I bleed Giants blue, and that could even be an understatement. I am one of those fans who abides by the JuJu rules. Or those things where you cant move during games if your team is doing well, so on and so forth. Friends have told me numerous times to stop updating my facebook status with Giants shit so I figured I would start this blog noise. Giants info will be up here reaaal quick since all I do is check twitter on my phone all day, getting the updates at lightning fast speeds.

Listen, read it or don't, can give a shit less. I need somewhere to get Giants off my chest and heres where it will go. Happy reading.
