NYG vs DAL Preview

We Need This.

 Remember Him?
Remember Kevin Ogletree? The man that caught 8 for 114 and 2 week one? Well that same guy has only caught 13 for 134 and 0 since. Let's not have him and Tony Romo slant it up and down the field all game long this time around.

Corners need to press, all game. Slants killed us week 1 and for whatever reason we did not adjust. Quick passes completely neutralizes the pass rush. The DLine can do something about the slants though, keep your hands up. Easy balls to bat down if you know they are coming.

The week 1 loss had a lot to do with injuries and rust. 3 drops for Cruz. Prince Amukamara did not play. Michael Coe got hurt. Michael Boley and Jacquian Williams missed significant preseason time with injuries. Chris Canty was on PUP.

Out of that group, we do not have Jacquian. He is going to be replaced by Rivers which will be fine.

Kenny Phillips also out but Stevie Brown has really been a godsend. Had no idea who he was back in April. The void left by Phillips is much smaller if we have Stevie in there for him. Has been nothing short of excellent.

82 total rushing yards for Giants week 1 should also be fixed.  No Sean Lee. He is the heart of the defense. In the middle of everything, absolute ball hawk. As long as you block Ware you are fine, but with Lee, hes an all around play maker.

Nicks, once again, has said he is healthy. Eli has seen the burst from him in practice, etc. I'll believe it when I see it.

No DeMarco Murray for the Cowboys is HUGE. Put up 131 against us week 1. Felix Jones is starting but is not fully healthy.

I'm feeling a sneak attack from David Wilson this week. Redemption game. Remember it was Sean Lee who put him in the doghouse.  Maybe it comes in the form of a KR for a TD. Little screen pass? Something.

Expect a W this week. Undefeated at Jerry Jones' Magical World of Wonder. Fewell will game plan against the quick passes. DLine has found is groove again, should be a fun game to watch.
