NYG vs WAS Recap

Ridiculous

Osi -  "That guy is flat-out unbelievable. I’m not even going to lie. That’s the best quarterback we’ve played this year."

Tuck - "I think he’s going to change the league. If he continues to do what he’s doing, he’s going to be good for a long time."

Looks like I was scared for good reason. Sir Robert Griffin had a DAY against this Giants defense. 20 for 28 with 258 and 2 ... 9 carries for 89. His ability to escape was fun to watch. Just a young Mike Vick but with the ability to throw the ball accurately. Good thing each DE got a sack, with Tuck getting his first. Slowly coming back to life.

Jason Pierre-Paul
JPP, if I see this one more time I will freak out.

Alfred Morris from Florida Atlantic University, in Boca Raton, FL is the real deal. He was carrying Giants all over the field. First half had 94 on 13 alone. Good thing is, he only got 26 the rest of the game.

In the first half, it looked like the Giants were playing more of a read and react with their front 7. The Giants however are a one-gap team. They were getting torn apart in the first half because of this circus offense the Redskins were running. Playaction every play making linebackers bite time after time. Finally changed in the 2nd half.

Something else, Chase Blackburn continued to do awful all game until the end when he forced that Santana Moss fumble. He is just soooo slow and continues to get pushed around. Problem is, plays like this will keep him a starter, too bad he is part of the reason we are in predicaments like that. Hopefully Herzlich's decleating hit on he opening kickoff.

Giants only putting up 64 rushing yards is absurd after the week they had against the 49ers defense. If you can push around that 49ers front 7, you sure as hell can push around the Redskins. The both run the 3-4, no reason to have not dominated. Bradshaw had a right to be angry all game, Gilbride, for whatever reason, shied away from the run, almost blowing the game completely.

Everybody was saying Eli was gonna put up ridiculous numbers. It should have happened, the Skins have a terrible pass defense. It didn't. Its nice to see he can put up over 300 on an off day though.

"We had him double-teamed, two guys double-teamed him on that play," said Redskins coach Mike Shanahan. "Obviously Cruz did a great job of splitting the double-team."

I love the Cruz/Eli connection. Eli does his thing at the end of the game, makes it interesting, then rips the hearts out of Redskins fans everywhere. That ball was placed perfectly to Cruz.

Coming up... Dallas. Dallas. Dallas.
